IMPORTANT: For security reasons & PCI Compliance Rules & Regulations, we do not permit SSH/SFTP Access without an approved User Verification & Acceptance agreement. Additionally, SSH/SFTP access can only be granted to users that have a static IP address assigned to them from their Internet Service Provider.
Below are the required settings for most FTP Clients, such as FileZilla:
Protocol: FTP – File Transfer Protocol
Host / Host Name: yourdomainname.com (replace yourdomainname.com with your actual domain name)
Encryption: Require explicit FTP over TLS
Logon Type: Normal
User / Username: (enter the same username you use to log into the cPanel for your web hosting account)
Password: (enter the same password you use to log into your cPanel for your hosting account)
If you have misplaced or forgotten your username and password, please submit the Technical Support Request and a tech will provide you with that information.
